April 10th, 2010 - Fort Detroit German Wirehaired Pointer Club Trial, Highland,
Michigan
Floyd’s first time
back in the field since his injury in August 2009, and although he ran well, he
was birdless and could not be placed.
Ellie, owned by Evan
Donley, who was making her debut entrance to field trial competitions, and one
week shy of her first birthday, was third in the Amateur
Puppy Stake and was first in the Amateur Derby Stake, a division above her age group and defeating Floyd!
May 2nd, 2010 – Vizsla Club of Michigan Trial, Ionia, Michigan
Floyd put on quite a
show in the field and the Judges took one half an hour to decide between the
first and second placements. Floyd
was second in the Amateur Walking Derby Stake and beaten by a very big running
English Pointer.
May 8th, 2010 – Irish Setter Club of Michigan Trial, Highland, Michigan
Floyd ran very well
and was braced with a Vizsla named Buddha, the Vizsla, who found 3 birds was
first, and Floyd was second with 1 bird find.
May 22nd, 2010 – Southern Michigan Weimaraner Club, Highland, Michigan
Floyd finally wins the Amateur Walking Derby, however, he went birdless in the Open
Derby due to the weather and some poor luck.
Ellie placed third in the Amateur
Walking Puppy however, Ellie won the Open
Puppy.
May 15th, 2010 – The Brittany Spaniel Club of Ontario Hunt Test – held near
Orangeville, Ontario
Mar-G – this was
Gee’s second time in the field to compete. Her first score was an 83. She did pass her second leg towards the title of the Field
Dog Junior with a score of 76.
Ellie – she was
absolutely amazing! Ellie achieved
a score of 99/100 and had her first
leg towards her FDJ in Canada, but also, was awarded “TOP DOG
FIELD DOG JUNIOR” at the BSCO
Pointing Dog Field Test!!!!
May 29th, 2010 – The Vizsla Society of Ontario Hunt Test – held near
Orangeville, Ontario
Mar-G – Gee just
keeps getting better and achieved her title of FDJ in Canada with a score of 90 in three consecutive tests!
Ellie – her score was
a 92 and has two of of 3 legs towards her FDJ in Canada, in two
straight tests, and is just over one year old!
May 30th, 2010 – The Vizsla Society of Ontario Hunt Test – held near
Orangeville, Ontario
Mar-G – To gain experience for the fall testing,
Gee was entered in a higher level of testing to achieve the title of Field
Dog. Gee was rewarded for
excellent behaviour with a score of 85 and now has one leg
of the FD title.
Rudy – owned by Amie and Matt, handled by Amie, who was 6 months and 2
days old on the day of the FDJ testing(they must be 6 months old to compete) achieved
a score of 96/100! Great job!!!! |
